House destroyed by fire near Markesan draws in mutual aid from Fond du Lac County departments

Multiple fire departments in eastern Green Lake, including mutual aid from The Brandon Fairwater Fire Department and Waupun Fire Department in Fond du Lac County were called out to a house fire early this morning.

Around 4 am The Markesan Fire Department was called to w2715 County Road S, about a mile west of Markesan. Upon arrival, crews found the house well involved with fire. Because of the size of the fire, mutual aid was requested from several other departments.

No other information is known on the fire at this time. KFIZ will update this story if and when more details are learned.
