House Fire in Oakfield

Multiple fire departments responded to a house fire in Oakfield yesterday. 

Just before 7 pm, the home owner at the Church street address called the Fond du Lac County Communication Center to report there was smoke in their house and they thought it may be on fire.

Upon arrival, fire crews found smoke coming from the roof of the house and found active fire inside. 

No information has been released at this time regarding how the fire started or the amount of damage the house sustained.
