I-41 to close overnight this week in Fond du Lac and Winnebago County

Parts of Interstate 41 between Fond du Lac and Oshkosh will completely close over the next couple days during certain hours.
The closures will be due to ongoing construction being done on the highway.
According to the Department of Transportation, Southbound I-41 between Highway 26 in Winnebago County, and County N in Fond du Lac County, will close at 9 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2025, and reopen at 5 a.m. the following morning.
The northbound side of the same stretch of highway will then close down Tuesday at 9 p.m. and reopen Wednesday morning at 5 a.m..
The detour to bypass the construction for southbound traffic would have traffic exit 41 at 26 to Highway C, south to Highway N and east back to 41.
The detour for northbound 41 Tuesday Would be the same roads, however in reverse.
The DOT says should construction be hampered by weather, the closures would be postponed one day to Tuesday and Wednesday.
Other closures affecting travelers in Fond du Lac County will be northbound on and off ramps to and from I-41 at Johnson Street in the City of Fond du Lac Wednesday night from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. the next morning.
Then on Thursday, the northbound on and off ramps from County Highway OO at the North Fond du Lac exit will close from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. the next morning.
Again, should weather hamper construction, the closures would be postponed one day.
