Illinois Boy Dies Of Injuries Suffered In Dodge County Crash

The 9-year-old Linderhurst, Illinois boy severely injured in a three-vehicle accident in Dodge County last Friday afternoon has died. IIan Hurtado was a passenger in one of the vehicles involved in the collision on County Highway A at the intersection of Indian Hills Trail in the Town of Beaver Dam. Also injured in the crash were 45-year-old Judith Haddad also of Linderhurst, Illinois and 31-year-old Jennifer Polenska of Waupun. All three ended up at the UW-Hospital in Madison. A semi-truck driver also involved in the collision, 67-year-old Lee Henricksen of Fox Lake, was not injured in the mishap. Hurtado is the sixth person to die from injuries suffered in a traffic accident in the County this year.
