Implement Shed Destroyed by Fire in Washington County

A shed and its contents are a total loss after a fire in
the Town of Kewaskum Sunday night. A news release says a Washington County Sheriff’s
Deputy had noticed smoke coming from the area of Kettle View Drive and Badger
Road just before 9 pm. When the deputy stopped at a home on Kettle View Drive, he
discovered an implement shed on fire. The shed was fully engulfed by fire, and
the loss of property is estimated at over $100,000. Fire departments from
Kewaskum, West Bend, Boltonville, Kohlsville, Campbellsport, Theresa, Fillmore,
Allenton and Jackson all assisted at the scene. No injuries were reported. The cause
of the fire remains under investigation.
