Incumbents Win Reelection To FDL City Council

All
three incumbents won reelection to the Fond
du Lac City Council Tuesday. Greg Giles (1895 votes),
Catherine Block (1800) and Brian Kolstad (2078 votes) got the most votes of the
five candidates that ran. Block says this term she would like to see the City
act on some of the recommendations they received from the Lakeside Park
and Downtown Exploratory Committees. Giles agrees, but he says they also have
to be conservative with the City taxpayers’ money. Bill Turner (1147 votes) and
Thornton Albertz (713) finished out of the running.
