Interim Principal Named To STEM Academy To Fill Void Left By Resigning Principal

The Fond du Lac School District is sharing that Mr. Bob Lloyd will lead the transition team at STEM Academy. Mr. Lloyd will begin the 2023-24 school year in the Interim Principal role following Mr. Tim Scottberg’s resignation, which was approved by our Board of Education at its Monday, August 28, 2023 meeting.

Mr. Lloyd may be a familiar face to those in Fond du Lac as Mr. Lloyd supported at Sabish Middle School last year, serving as an interim assistant principal, in addition to having been a teacher early on in his educational career right here in Fond du Lac. Mr. Lloyd retired from full-time education following the 2021-22 school year. He spent 20 years in the School District of Lomira and the final nine years as Superintendent.

“As a school district, we are extremely fortunate to have the proven track record and experience that Mr. Lloyd has to lead our transition team,” said Dr. Jeffrey Fleig, Superintendent. “Having Mr. Lloyd involved will allow STEM Academy to continue without missing a beat during the upcoming school year. We are excited to continue to see all the great things happening within our STEM Academy learning community.”

The Fond du Lac School District will seek candidates during the second semester of the school year to name the next full-time principal of STEM Academy to begin in the 2024-25 school year.
