Investigation of skeletal remains ongoing

Authorities have cleared the scene where skeletal remains of a toddler were found Saturday near Two Rivers.

While their saying it will take time to identify the remains, many people in the area are hoping they belong to Elijah Vue so the family can have closure in his disappearance. Elijah went missing in February of this year, last seen by his mothers boyfriend, only minutes from where the bones were found.

While not charged in the disappearance of Elijah, the boyfriend, Jesse Vang and mother Katrina Baur, of Wisconsin Dells, remain in police custody on child neglect charges related to Elijah.
