Is Kwik Trip coming to Lomira?

Fans of the convenience store Kwik Trip that head south on 41 from Fond du Lac face a relatively long lack of the store as the last one right off the highway is at the Hickory Street intersection, and then another isn’t seen for 32 miles at highway 60 in Washington County.

That could change however as officials in Lomira are contemplating having the Wisconsin based favorite build one in their village at the Highway 67 interchange.

On April 24th at 7PM the Lomira Planning, Zoning and Economic Development Commission will gather to discuss the project plan for a Kwik Trip gas station to be built at 450 East Avenue in Lomira, including a storm water management plan and sign plan for the project.

Reaction on a social media page centered around the Lomira area shows a mostly overwhelming acceptance of the possibility, but a few people did voice concerns, mostly the added traffic exiting into their village and the fact their was already four gas stations in Lomira, with three of them being at the exit where Kwik Trip wants to build.

The site where the store would go is currently a plot of grass that lays right next to a Subway restaurant and Shell Gas Station.
