It’s Fair Week – The Fond du Lac County Fair Begins Wednesday

The Fond du Lac County Fair makes its return to the
fairgrounds in Fond du Lac this week. The fair runs Wednesday through Sunday
and features animals, food, entertainment and family fun. Fond du Lac City
Manager Joe Moore says the fair is great for people from Fond du Lac County and
for the city as a whole. “A lot of people are coming from all around the county,
and even outside the county, which is great,” Moore said. “It’s great for them
and for the city, too, because they’re doing business in the city while they’re
here.” Moore says we all see what happens to Lakeside Park during Walleye
Weekend and what impact that has on the city, but he adds “sometimes I think we
take for granted what happens to the fairgrounds for five days during the fair.”,
and how many people are attending the event.

Once again this year, admission is free to the fair. Parking
on the grounds is five dollars.
