Jet Steam Sells Fond du Lac Location

It’s the end of an era for an iconic Fond du Lac car wash.

Walt Tack, owner of Jet Stream Car Wash, made it official with a social media post, saying he has sold his Fond du Lac location to Club Car Wash, based in Columbia, Missouri.

Tack said his family has been washing cars in Fond du Lac since 1963, and “it was a pleasure being a part of the amazing community.”

He said his Oshkosh location was not affected by the transition and will continue to offer full-service car washes at its Witzel Avenue location.

Club Car Wash is set to open at least two more locations in Fond du Lac, including a location next to Walgreen’s on East Johnson St., near the Hwy. 151 bypass; and a location set to be built on the former Fazoli’s location on W. Johnson St., at I-41.
