Judge Set To Hold Conference On Kaul’s Request To Block Gableman Subpoenas
A Dane County judge will hold a conference Monday morning on a request to block subpoenas issued by Assembly Republicans.
Those subpoenas directed at the Wisconsin Elections Commission are part of the partisan, taxpayer funded probe of the 2020 presidential election being overseen by former state Supreme Court Justice Michael Gableman.
Democratic Attorney General Josh Kaul filed a request last week for the subpoenas to be blocked. Dane County Judge Rhonda Lanford will hold a conference this morning to consider Kaul’s request.
