Meanwhile, the Wisconsin Department of Justice released the name of the man responsible for shooting Iro and shooting at the K9s handler last Saturday in the City Of Fond du Lac.

34-year-old Kyle Massie reportedly held a woman at gunpoint Friday night and after she was able to get away Saturday morning, police started to surround the residence, unaware Massie had left in a vehicle.

A short time later a Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s deputy was behind the suspect and when the officer attempted to pull the man over, Massie shot at the officer. After an exchange of dozens of shots, Massie was gravely injured and K9 Iro was shot three times.
