Kewaskum Woman Injured in Crash Dies

An update to a story we brought you yesterday. According to the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s office, the 57-year-old Kewaskum woman involved in a crash on highway 45 has died. On Monday just before 11:00 a.m. deputies and emergency medical Personnel were dispatched to Highway 45, about a mile north of Wacousta for a rollover crash. Upon arrival,  Fond du Lac County sheriff’s deputies found the driver and soul occupant unresponsive and not breathing.  Deputies performed CPR and got the woman breathing and she was brought to Thedacare Regional Medical complex where she later passed away. Through investigation, it was determined the woman was Southbound on Highway 45 when she left the roadway striking a driveway embankment, causing her vehicle to roll over. Its believed the woman experienced a medical emergency which caused her to leave the roadway. The crash remains under investigation.
