Pacesetters for the Fond du Lac Area United Way have already begun their efforts for this fall’s campaign. Society Insurance is the lead pacesetter for the campaign. United Way Executive Director Amber Kilawee announced the junior-pacesetter recently on KFIZ. She says Fox Valley Savings Bank will serve in that capacity. She says this year’s campaign goal is $760,000. Tracy Scheider of Society Insurance says they have already held a Nacho Day, sold Sundaes and root beer floats, and are having a silent auction for gift baskets to raise money for the United Way. They also planned a Hawaiian Day. Kilawee says they will announce how much the pacesetters have raised so far during Fondue Fest, which will be on Saturday, September 10th in Downtown Fond du Lac.
