The Badgers resume Big Ten play tonight as they welcome Minnesota to the Kohl Center. Wisconsin is 2-0 in conference play and 10-3 overall – coming off a road loss to Western Kentucky on Saturday. The Gophers are 1-1 in conference and 11-2 overall, they’ve won their last five games, most recently beating Mount Saint Mary’s 71-53 on Sunday. Coverage starts at 7pm this evening with tipoff at 8 on News/Talk 1450.

College Hockey News:

Fond du Lac native Conner Blanck of the Marian Men’s Hockey Team has been named the NCHA Player of the Week. The junior had his second multi-point game of the season in helping the Sabres take down #10 St. Scholastica in the opener of the UW-Superior Showdown over the weekend. Blanck is tied for the team lead in points with 11 on the season. The Sabres return to action this evening – as they welcome MSOE to the Blue Line – puck drop is 4pm.
