–James McCourt kicked the game-winning 39 yard field goal as time expired as the Illini stunned the Badgers in Champaign Saturday afternoon. Wisconsin led 23-14 with 9:46 to play in the game, but saw Illinois score the final 10 points in the game to score the upset. The Badgers outgained the Illini 420-315, but lost the turnover battle – with two fumbles and an interception on the day. Wisconsin is forced to regroup quickly with a tough road contest at Ohio State next Saturday – kickoff is 11 AM.

–Titans’ quarterback Kobe Berghammer ran for three touchdowns in the win as Oshkosh improved to 3-0 in the WIAC. UWO travels to La Crosse next Saturday.

–The Eagles and Falcons combined for 56 points in the second quarter alone in the high-scoring affair in River Falls. La Crosse quarterback Evan Lewandowski tied an NCAA Division 3 record by throwing nine touchdown passes in the win.
