–Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 48 points and grabbed 14 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough to keep the winning streak alive, as the Mavericks win at Fiserv Forum Monday night to end the Bucks’ win streak at 18 games. Kristaps Porzingis scored 26 points and had 12 rebounds, with Seth Curry adding 26 of his own off the bench in the win for Dallas. Milwaukee welcomes LeBron James, Anthony Davis and the Los Angeles Lakers to town Thursday night.

College Football:
The Wisconsin Badgers were one of four teams with multiple AP All-America first team selections. Top-ranked L-S-U and number two Ohio State each had three players while number five Georgia also had a pair of selections. For number 11 Wisconsin Jonathan Taylor was a first team honoree for a second straight season and center Tyler Biadasz also made the first team. Taylor was the only player to repeat as a first-team selection this year.

–Saints Quarterback Drew Brees threw four touchdown passes to become the NFL’s all-time leader in touchdown passes – breaking Peyton Manning’s previous record of 539.
Baseball:
It appears that free-agent outfielder Avisail Garcia will play for the Milwaukee Brewers in the 2020 season. M-L-B-dot-com reports Garcia has agreed to a two-year, 20-million dollar contract. He batted .282 with a career-high 20 home runs for Tampa Bay last season after spending five years with the Chicago White Sox. Garcia was an American League All-Star in 2017 when he wound up hitting .330.
