College Hoops News:

Wisconsin sophomore guard Trevor Anderson will undergo knee surgery and will miss the remainder of the season. Anderson appeared in eight games this year – totaling 13 points, nine rebounds and three assists in just under seven minutes per game. Anderson sat out all of last year after transferring to Wisconsin from UW-Green Bay, he’s appeared in 28 games in his career – averaging 7.5 points, two rebounds and two assists per game.

NBA:

The Bucks welcome the Golden State Warriors to the FIserv Forum tonight. Milwaukee downed Detroit 115-92 on Wednesday night behind 27 points from Eric Bledsoe to improve to 16-7 on the year. Golden State sits at 17-9 on the season – and have gone 5-5 in their last ten games, most recently beating Cleveland on Wednesday 129-105, behind 42 points from Steph Curry. The Bucks won the only other meeting between the two teams this season – 134-111 back on November 8th. Tipoff time is 8:30 tonight – no broadcast on KFIZ because of high school basketball coverage.

College Football:

Wisconsin running back Jonathan Taylor is the 2018 winner of the Doak Walker Award – which is given to the nation’s top running back. The sophomore led the nation with 1,989 rushing yards and scored 15 touchdowns on the year. Taylor is the fourth Badger to win the award, joining Ron Dayne (1999), Montee Ball (2012) and Melvin Gordon (2014). Travis Etienne of Clemson and Darrell Henderson of Memphis were the other finalists for the award.
