High School Sports – Saturday’s Results: 

Boys Hockey: 

WIAA Division 2 State Championship: 

St. Mary’s Springs 4, Superior 1

–The Ledgers are champions again in Division Two, after they outlast the Spartans in the title game Saturday morning in Wisconsin Rapids. 

Brady Welsch and Calvin Grass each scored twice in the win for Springs – which claims its second straight State Championship. Hayden Rising had 11 saves in goal for the Ledgers, who outshot the Spartans 40-12 in the victory. 

Boys Basketball: 

WIAA Division 1 Regional Finals: 

Oshkosh North 87, Fond du Lac 69

–Henry Wright and Jay Dalton each scored 17 points as the Cardinals lost to the Spartans in the Regional Final. Fondy closes the season with a 16-9 record. 

Kimberly 73, Neenah 65

Appleton North 56, Hortonville 28

WIAA Division 3 Regional Finals: 

St. Mary’s Springs 72, Campbellsport 54

–Aidan Ottery scored 21 points, with Sam Coon adding 14 as the Ledgers defeated the Cougars to win the Regional Title and advance to sectionals. 

Kiel 75, Oostburg 68

–The Raiders win the Regional Title and advance to sectionals

WIAA Division 5 Regional Finals: 

Stockbridge 50, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah 48

–The Indians win the Regional Title and advance to sectionals

Wrestling: 

WIAA Division 2 State Team Wrestling Tournament: 

Semifinals: #1 Amery 52, #4 Kiel 22

–The Raiders fall to the eventual Division 2 Champion in Amery. Amery would beat Prairie du Chien for the team title. 

Men’s College Basketball: 

NACC: 

MSOE 72, Marian 67 (OT)

–Tyler Gouin scored 28 points to lead the Sabres in the loss. Marian closes out the regular season next week Friday and Saturday at home against Lakeland
