–Geneva Hewitt and Kaylee Frey each scored 15 points to lead the Vikings in the win, Brianna Freund scored 14 to lead Springs in the loss.

–Sam Hauser scored 19 points, Markus Howard added 17 points as the Golden Eagles saw their eight-game win streak snapped at the hands of the Red Storm. Marquette welcomes Villanova to Milwaukee on Saturday.

Wisconsin is in the Twin Cities tonight to go up against the Golden Gophers. The 19th-ranked Badgers have won five in-a-row to run their record to 16-and-6, including 8-and-3 in the Big Ten. Minnesota lost at Purdue this past Sunday to slip to 16-and-6 and 6-and-5. The Gophers won the first meeting of the season between the teams back on January 3rd at the Kohl Center 59-52. Coverage starts at 7pm, tipoff at 8 on KFIZ.

The Bucks look to stay hot at home tonight as they host the Wizards. Milwaukee has won four straight, all on the road, and 10 of its last 11 games overall. At 39-and-13, the Bucks lead the Raptors by a game-and-a-half for first place in the Eastern Conference.
The Bucks’ Khris Middleton will be taking part in NBA All-Star Saturday Night. He’s part of the 10-man field for this year’s Three-Point Contest, along with defending champ Devin Booker of the Suns. All-Star Saturday Night will take place on February 16th in Charlotte.

College Hockey:
Marian University athletics has announced the addition of an ACHA Division Three hockey program. It’s the second ACHA team Marian sponsors – after the Sabres’ Division Two team is in its third year of existence, and has seen some great success so far – making it to the national tournament the last two seasons. There are around 140 teams with 10 conferences in ACHA Division Three, with regions split into Atlantic, North, Pacific and South. The Division Three team will begin play in the 2019-2020 academic year.
