WIAA Boys State Tournament:
The Waupun boys basketball team begins play in the WIAA State Semifinals at the Kohl Center in Madison today. The Warriors are the #2 seed in Division 3 and will play #3 seed Denmark in the second semifinal game today. The first game features top-seed Martin Luther taking on #4 seed Northwestern. Winners advance to Saturday’s championship game. Also today are the Division 4 semifinals, with top-seed Roncalli playing New Glarus and #2 seed Oshkosh Lourdes playing Osseo-Fairchild. The D4 semifinals get underway at 6:30 tonight

–The Golden Eagles look to snap a four game losing streak today and start the postseason doing something they couldn’t in the regular season – beat St. John’s. The Red Storm swept the season series with Marquette, winning 89-69 at home on January 1st and 70-69 on February 5th at Fiserv Forum. Tipoff time is 6 pm from Madison Square Garden.
MLB Spring Training:
Cleveland 9, Milwaukee 3
–A three-run home run from Keston Hiura accounted for the only runs of the game for the Brewers. Milwaukee takes on the LA Angels this afternoon – coverage starts at 2:55, first pitch at 3:05 on KFIZ.
NFL:
The Packers are bringing back tight end Marcedes Lewis. He had just three catches for 39 yards in 16 games last season while being used mostly as a blocker. The Packers tendered receiver Geronimo Allison, but elected not to do so with safety Kentrell Brice.
