Boys Hockey – WIAA State Semifinals:
Division 2:
St. Mary’s Springs 7, Rice Lake 2
–Brady Welsch and Max VandeSlunt each scored two goals as the Ledgers rolled past the Warriors to reach Saturday’s state title game. St. Mary’s Springs will play Northland Pines for the D-2 title on Saturday at 9:30 am. Listen to the game on KFIZ starting at 9:15 AM Saturday.
Girls Basketball – WIAA Sectional Semifinals:

Marshall 57, Laconia 40
–Cyna Madigan scored 12 points to lead the Spartans in the loss to the Cardinals. Laconia finishes the season with a 20-5 record.

Division 5:

–The Oaks will play defending D-5 State Champion Black Hawk in the Sectional Final Saturday night in Beaver Dam.
