–Brook Lopez scored 29 points, Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 24 points and grabbed 14 rebounds as the Bucks defended the home court and won game one against the Raptors at Fiserv Forum Wednesday night. On a night when the Bucks shot just 25 percent from three point range, Lopez splashed four threes – including a clutch shot with 1:55 left in the fourth quarter that put Milwaukee up by four. The Bucks outscored the Raptors 32-17 in that final quarter. Game two is coming up Friday – tipoff again is 7:30 pm.

–Ryan Braun and Christian Yelich each had two hits and Gio Gonzalez allowed a run on seven hits in 5 & ⅓ innings as the Brewers won game three of the series with the Phillies Wednesday night. Braun has four hits this series against Philadelphia. Milwaukee goes for the series win this afternoon,

College Baseball:

Three Marian University Baseball players have earned All-Conference recognition after the Sabres completed their winningest season during the NACC era. Sophomore first baseman Sean Meyer, Senior pitcher Jordan Bock and Sophomore catcher Nick Dugandzic (Doo-gand-zick) were honored by the NACC this week for their performance this year. Meyer and Bock were first team selections, while Dugandzic was an All-NACC Honorable Mention selection. The Sabres finished 24-15 overall and 12-10 in conference this year, falling to Concordia-Wisconsin in the conference tournament last Friday.

Another in-state college baseball player with local ties earned All-Conference honors this spring. Keegan Madigan, a graduate of Laconia High School and senior pitcher for UW-Platteville, earned All-WIAC Honorable Mention honors this week. Madigan went 4-1 with a 3.78 earned run average in his senior season with the Pioneers, helping lead UWP to a 20-21 overall record and 14-10 conference mark.
