Wisconsin Athletic Director Barry Alvarez has said canceling the season will cost the Badgers program 100 million dollars.

>>Packers GM “Bullish” On St. Brown, Other Wide Receivers

(Green Bay, WI)  —  Green Bay general manager Brian Gutekunst says the team is “really bullish” on wide receivers like Equanimeous St. Brown.  He, Allen Lazard and Marquez Valdes-Scantling are expected to improve and make onlookers forget that Green Bay failed to draft a pass catcher in the 2020 NFL Draft.  The Packers did make an addition at the position Monday by placing a waiver claim on Travis Fulgham.  He played three games last season after being drafted in the sixth round in 2019 by the Detroit Lions.  The athlete from Old Dominion University has good size at six-two and 215 pounds, ran an official four-point-58 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine and has an impressive vertical leap at more than 36 inches.

>>Athletes For Marquette Golden Eagles – Very Smart

(Milwaukee, WI)  —  Athletes who play most any sport at Marquette University are apparently strong in the classroom.  Eighty-three percent of the school’s 320 sports participants were named to the Big East All-Academic Team announced Monday.  A school-record 267 Marquette competitors appear on the list, topped by 44 from the men’s lacrosse squad.  Last year, 220 Marquette athletes were named to the team.  To be eligible, an athlete has to compete in a Big East-sponsored sport, attained a grade-point average of at least three-point-oh for the preceding academic year, and completed at least 18 semester credit hours.  Forty-three Golden Eagles actually earned a perfect four-point-oh GPA
