Both Waupun and Plato (MN) finish the tournament with 5-1 records. Plato wins the Division 2 championship based on beating Waupun head to head on Friday.

–Brad Hudson had a three-run triple as the Dock Spiders defeated the Mallards to end the regular season with nine wins in a row. Duncan Hunter also had three RBI, while Ryan Sepede had two hits in the win for the Spiders. With Wisconsin Rapids’ win over Lakeshore, the Dock Spiders will miss the playoffs. The Spiders finish 2019 with a 22-13 record in the second half, and a 36-35 record overall.

In the Great Lakes Division – Madison visits Wisconsin Rapids, Traverse City plays at Kalamazoo
In the Great Plains Division – Eau Claire visits Waterloo, Willmar is at St. Cloud.
The first round is a best-of-three series, followed by a one-game divisional championship game and a one-game “Summer Collegiate World Series”

–Texas ace Mike Minor outdueled Jordan Lyles of the Brewers as the Rangers won the series finale Sunday afternoon in Milwaukee. Minor threw eight shutout innings, allowing four hits and striking out 11 to earn the win. Lyles went seven innings, giving up three hits and striking out nine. A sacrifice fly in the seventh inning for Texas was the only run of the game for the Rangers and proved to be enough to win. The Brewers are off today and host Minnesota for two games Tuesday and Wednesday.
