Cross Country: 

The North Fond du Lac/Oakfield Cross Country team competed at the Rio Invite on Friday. The boys team placed third, and was led by Xavier Lasee who finished third individually. The NFDL/Oakfield girls team placed eighth overall, and was led by JJ Greminger in 27th place.

–Mike Moustakas had two hits, and Trent Grisham hit a bases-clearing triple as the Brewers blew out the Pirates to begin their weekend series at Miller Park. Milwaukee stays three games back of St. Louis in the National League Central, and sits two games up on the Cubs for the second Wild Card spot in the National League. The Brewers are also two games up on the Cubs in the Division race. Game two of the series is tonight – Zach Davies starts for the Brewers against Zach Marvel for the Pirates, coverage starts at 5:35, first pitch is 6:10 on KFIZ.
