Lakeside Park Light Show Suffers Extensive Damage
If you’re hoping to enjoy the Lakeside Park Light Show, you’ll have to wait a few days.
The City of Fond du Lac Department of Public Works issued a statement Thursday, saying the Light Show suffered extensive damage from the high winds Wednesday night.
The Noon Rotary, along with City staff, will be working to clean up and assess the damage the next couple of days. During this time, the light show will not be running.
UPDATE:
The Oshkosh Celebration of Lights will be allowing all Fond du lac Residents to go through their lights at no charge on Sunday evening December 19th. They heard of our misfortune with our show and wanted to reach out to our community to offer the free entrance. All that needs to be done is to show a driver’s license or ID showing they live in Fond du Lac at the entrance and they will allow the car in at no charge. The normal charge is $10 per vehicle. It is recommended to bring a sealed hygiene item to donate (Shampoo, deodorant, soap, etc.)
The show is at Menomonee Park in Oshkosh and is open from 5:30pm-9pm. Here is their website https://www.oshkoshcol.org/
