Lakeside Park Lighthouse To Re-open After Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Thursday

The public is invited to attend two community events in Lakeside park tomorrow.

The first happens at 10 AM to celebrate a ribbon cutting, opening the newly renovated lighthouse, as well the completion of recent improvements to Lighthouse Drive.

The attention then shifts at 11 AM to Lakeside Park West off Howard Litscher Drive to celebrate the new boardwalk at Lakeside Park West.

City leaders will be on hand to comment at both events.

The lighthouse, which has been closed for over a year due to safety issues, will officially be open to the public again after the ceremony.
