Large Amount Of Drugs And 3 Arrests Come From Traffic Stop

Law enforcement in Fond du Lac County continue to make significant arrests and seizures of drugs.
The latest incident occurred Thursday, December 1, 2022, at 6:48pm, when a K9 deputy patrolling Interstate 41 stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation northbound near County Highway N.
During the course of the traffic stop, the deputy detected indicators of drug use and possession inside the vehicle and a subsequent search of the vehicle was conducted.
During the search, deputies located over 900 MDMA pills, commonly referred to as Ecstasy, with a total weight of almost one pound and a street value over $27,000.
Smaller quantities of methamphetamine and marijuana, illegally possessed prescription medications, and various items of paraphernalia were also found.
The vehicle was seized and the three occupants of the vehicle, two males and one female all from the Fox Valley, were taken into custody and transported to the Fond du Lac County Jail where they are being held on numerous drug related charges.
The female suspect is also being held on a probation hold, as she is currently on active probation for multiple drug related convictions.
A Sheriff’s Office Lake Winnebago Area Metropolitan Enforcement Group drug task force investigator is continuing the investigation.
None of the defendants have made an initial court appearance on their charges, and no further information can be released at this time due to the ongoing investigation.
