Law Enforcement Appreciation Day

Today is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day and communities across the nation are being encouraged to let those 780,000 law enforcement officers, and their families, know that their commitment, service and sacrifices, are appreciated and that the masses support them. The Fond du Lac County Economic Development Corporation published a letter from Fond du Lac Police Chief Bill Lamb about the day. Lamb says in it “I have the extraordinary honor of leading some of the most highly dedicated, committed and professional law enforcement officers that you’ll find anywhere in this great nation, and I am very respectfully, and humbly, encouraging each of you to help spread the word about Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.” To see the rest of the letter click here.
