Ledger Girls Advance To Sectional Final
The St. Mary’s Springs Academy girls basketball team advanced to the Sectional Final with a 65-50 win over Oshkosh Lourdes in the Division Four Sectional Semifinal at Oshkosh North on Thursday night. Lourdes led a back and fourth game 33-32 at the half before junior Kelli Schrauth scored 9 of her game high 19 in the 3rd quarter to give Springs a 44-40 lead going to the 4th. Lourdes went cold in the 4th quarter and the Ledgers made 10 of 13 free throws to pull away to the 15 point win. Along with Schrauth’s 19, Liz Bohn added 15, Mealane Schneider 14, and Destiny Ottery 10 to pace SMSA. St. Mary’s Springs (21-3) will face Whitefish Bay Dominican (16-9) on Saturday in the Sectional Final at Oconomowoc.
