Legal Immigration Helps Fill Workforce Demands

Congressman Glenn Grothman says as much as the U.S. needs to cut back on illegal immigration it also needs legal immigration to bolster its workforce. He says there are jobs that need to be filled and there is a labor shortage. He says those jobs vary from highly technical to jobs in the agricultural community or hospitality industry. He says there are factors contributing to the workforce shortage. He says the birth rate and economic growth in this country are going to require us to take some people from abroad. He says that is why legal immigration is so important. Grothman says we can basically pick who we want to come into our country because much of the whole world wants to come to the United States.
