Legislation Updates Ducks Tour Status

The Wisconsin State Assembly this week passed a bill that will allow the Wisconsin Dells Ducks tours to travel on state highways up to five miles. Current law allows those vehicles to travel on highways for a distance up to two miles. State Representative Joan Ballweg and Senator Luther Olsen sponsored this legislation, which was brought to their attention through efforts from the Original Wisconsin Ducks. The minor change will allow the Original Wisconsin Ducks to expand the number of amphibious vehicles that can be used to take guests, staying at the large resorts, on the famous land and water tour.
