Life in prison without parole given to two teens involved in Fond du Lac mass shooting
Friday, December 19, 2025, District Attorney Eric J. Toney announced that Parise Larry and Antonio Johnston were sentenced for their roles in a mass shooting homicide at the Maplewood Commons in the City of Fond du Lac, on May 7, 2023.
Judge Laura Lavey sentenced both defendants, Parise Larry and Antonio Johnston, to life in prison without the possibility of release.
District Attorney Toney stated “This mass shooting disrupted our community’s ability to feel safe in their homes, injured three, and took the life of a fourth person. Our community is safer with these two defendants off our streets and we will continue to work with our law enforcement partners to aggressively prosecute gun violence, regardless of age, to protect our community. These sentences will not bring back their loved one or take away the injuries others suffered, but they are a small measure of justice for them and our community.
Toney stated he was deeply grateful for the tireless investigative efforts by the City of Fond du Lac Police Department. Their dedication continues to make Fond du Lac a safer community and built the case needed to secure these convictions.”
The court’s sentencing breakdowns are as follows:
Antonio Johnston
