Liquid manure spills when tanker truck overturns

Law enforcement in Fond du Lac County had a stinky situation to deal with Monday, July 28, 2025, after a tanker truck carrying liquid manure left the roadway and overturned, spilling it’s contents.

Just before 5:30 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to the area of W3324 Schumacher Road in northeast Fond du Lac County, where he found the tanker overturned.

The officer notified dispatch to call in the Department of Natural Resources as the tanker driver stated he was carrying about 6000 gallons of liquid manure that was leaking out.

Schumacher Road was closed to traffic while the mess was cleaned up and the truck was removed.
