Living Smart 2025 to offer free lifesaving screenings

Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 3 to join SSM Health Cancer Care providers for a morning of free cancer screenings.
Open to all ages, Living Smart is scheduled from 8 – 11 am at the SSM Health Cancer Care facility, 480 E. Division Street, and will focus on early detection, prevention, and cancer education. Participants need to register for screenings by Friday, May 2.
As part of this year’s Living Smart, SSM Health is offering free lung cancer screening assessments to determine if a low-dose CT scan is right for participants. If eligible, this exam will be scheduled at a future date. SSM Health will also be offering oral screenings and colon cancer screening kits ($5). The event will also feature education on nutrition, genetics, and fall risk assessments.
“This free health event offers the community a wonderful opportunity to learn more about the importance of early detection, what risks they may have and what steps they should take to decrease their risks of developing cancer,” says Dani Mann, SSM Health Cancer Care manager.
SSM Health Cancer Care provides diagnosis and treatment for cancer patients throughout a 10-county region, with locations in Fond du Lac, Ripon, and Waupun. It is the only accredited cancer care center in the region offering leading edge treatments, clinical trials, and compassionate care.
Preregistration is required for the Living Smart event by registering online at ssmhealth.com/LiveSmart. Individuals without computer access can 920-926-4130 to register. Space is limited.
