Local group to host electronic waste drive at end of May

A common post seen on social media asks where a person can get rid of a certain larger electronic device that can’t be thrown out in the traditional trash receptacle.

A Fond du Lac group is hoping to help out those with this need during a one day event at the end of May.

Dedrick Homes is hosting their 2nd electronic waste drive on Saturday May 31st at the Lighthouse Christian Church parking lot at 401 south National Avenue from 10 am to 1 pm.

The group say they will accept any and all electronics to be disposed of like stereos, speakers, flat screen tvs, appliances such as microwaves, refrigerators, and air conditioners and any other device. The only exception will be older tube style tvs and computer monitors which the group says they will still take, however you must pay a $25 fee to have them dispose of it.

Any questions on the electronic waste drive should be directed to Amanda at 920-960-3555
