Lomira house arsonist makes first court appearance

The man accused of setting fire to a house in Lomira on Thursday was in court yesterday for his initial appearance.

21-year-old Conner Bralich of Lomira is being charged with Arson to a Building and is being held at the Dodge County Jail on a $10,000 cash bond.

At 3:40 pm, Thursday, the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center received 911 calls about a two story house on fire at 903 Main Street in Lomira. Witnesses told dispatchers they saw a suspicious man at the house just prior to the fire, with one saying the man left with a gas can.

Officers quickly identified a suspect and used the Flock Camera system to narrow down his location, allowing them to make a quick apprehension.

Bralich is due back in court for a review hearing February 5th and is scheduled for a Preliminary hearing February 27.
