Mahala’s Hope Announces Closure After Years of Dedicated Service

SUBMITTED

It is with deep regret that Mahala’s Hope announces the decision to cease operations and close its doors permanently. This difficult decision comes after years of providing essential recovery services to women across Wisconsin and unwavering support to the community.

Mahala’s Hope has been a cornerstone in the community, dedicated to offering hope and healing to women in recovery. Despite our best efforts to continue our mission, we have faced location challenges that have made it impossible to keep our operations running.

“We are incredibly proud of the impact Mahala’s Hope has made over the years,” said Rhiannon Diederichs, President, at Mahala’s Hope.” Our dedicated team of employees and volunteers have been at the heart of everything we have achieved, and their hard work and passion have touched the lives of 248 women, affecting 280 minor children. This decision was not made lightly, and it is with a heavy heart that we move forward with the closure.”

The primary concern during this transition period is the well-being of the clients we serve. Mahala’s Hope has committed to ensuring that all current clients receive appropriate support and referrals to other organizations that can continue to provide the care and assistance they need.

“We extend our deepest gratitude to our stakeholders, donors, volunteers, and employees for their unwavering support and dedication,” added Rhiannon. “The legacy of Mahala’s Hope will live on through the positive changes we’ve made together, and we hope our supporters will continue to champion similar causes in the future.”
