Man Arrested After 120 MPH Pursuit In Fond du Lac County

A 22-year-old man from Kenosha seemed to have second thoughts in regards to running from the law overnight in Fond du Lac County.

At 1:05 AM this morning, the man was observed speeding on I-41 northbound near County Highway Y in southern Fond du Lac County.

The officer turned on his lights and siren and the vehicle accelerated to 120 mph.

After traveling almost four miles, the man pulled over to face his consequences near Highway B.

As is with policy with the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Department, a high risk stop was performed on the vehicle which means several officers position themselves
behind the offending vehicle and slowly and methodically have each occupant of the car get out and be taken into custody.

There was a total of three people in the car and traffic on the northbound side of 41 was shut down for about 13 minutes while officers cleared the car.

The driver was arrested for knowingly fleeing an officer and other traffic-related violations.

The Wisconsin State Patrol assisted with the High Risk Stop.
