Man Arrested in Hit and Run Near Lawrence University

Appleton Police have a man in custody
following a hit and run crash near Lawrence
University last week.
43-year old James Hutcherson appeared in court on Friday, facing a charge of
Hit and Run Causing Great Bodily Harm.

a 21-year old Lawrence
student as she crossed the intersection of College Avenue and Lawe Street on October 5^th –
then taking off. The victim spent several days in a hospital being treated for
a serious head injury. Police say numerous tips led them to find the vehicle
involved in the crash.
