Man busted after using postal service to transport over two pounds of cocaine

A Sauk County man is in police custody after police caught him red handed with over two pounds of cocaine that was delivered to a Reedsburg house via the US Postal Service.

The package was discovered to contain the cocaine before it was delivered to the address, and police watched the house after it’s delivery to see who would claim it. When postal inspectors delivered the package, a female accepted it, but a 28-year-old man stopped at the house a couple hours later to retrieve it.

He was arrested as he was leaving the house with the package.

The street value of the cocaine was said to be about $22,000. Jaoshua Vargas-Sanchez is being charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine, maintaining a drug trafficking place and possession of drug paraphernalia.
