Man convicted of double fatal Fond du Lac County crash gets 15 year prison sentence

A man who was convicted in a double fatal crash in February of 2022 in Fond du Lac County was sentenced to 15 years in prison Monday.

39-year-old Adam Richardson had a blood alcohol concentration of .21 at the time of the crash. More than twice the legal limit.

In the early morning hours of February 26th of 2022 Richardson and his wife and brother-in-law were traveling on 151 near County WH after attending a fundraising event. Richardson was driving over 100 mph and left the road striking a tree with such force that the vehicle ripped in half, killing both passengers in the vehicle.

Richardson was convicted in February of this year for the deaths and was sentenced Monday to 7.5 years prison and 2.5 years probation for each death.
