The driver, 18-year-old Devon Hambly, continued to be resistive as officers removed him from the crashed vehicle and was immediately taken into custody. He received non-life-threatening injuries in the crash and was taken to Marshfield Medical Center – Beaver Dam for treatment of those injuries.
Hambly is being charged with eluding an officer, resisting/obstructing an Officer, operating while under the influence and operating without a valid driver’s license. Additionally, the Horicon Police Department will be requesting charges for operating a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent.
