Man holds police at bay in Green Bay for almost 3 hours
Green Bay Police have a 32-year-old man in custody after he barricaded himself in a hotel room for two hours and 45 minutes yesterday.
The incident started just before 3 PM when police were called to the Tower Motel at 2625 Humboldt Road for a report of a man yelling and threatening people outside with a knife. When police arrived the man retreated to a room that had another person inside.
Police eventually got the man to surrender peacefully around 5:45 PM. Charges will be referred to the Brown County District Attorney’s Office.
