Man suffers multiple gunshot wounds in Beaver Dam overnight

A shooting in the City of Beaver Dam has sent one person to the hospital with multiple gun shot wounds.

Just before 1 a.m. Saturday, May 30, 2026, officers and an ambulance were sent to 311 north Spring Street, reported to be near the Beaver Dam Library for the incident.

Officers arrived on scene and applied immediate aid to the victim before the ambulance arrived.

The shooter had reportedly fled the scene before law enforcement arrived.

The victim was reportedly then transported to a local hospital before being medflighted to a level one trauma center.
