Man With Weapons Threatening To “Do Damage” To Dundee Captured By Sheriff’s Deputies

A citizen called the Fond du Lac County Communications Center around 2:30 PM Wednesday, April 12, 2023, and advised that his nephew was headed to downtown Dundee with multiple “large guns” to do damage.

Multiple officers with Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office and Wisconsin State Patrol saturated the area.

Dispatch was asked to get ahold of businesses in the area and tell them to lock their doors and school busses with routes in the area were told to divert.

Officers responding found the suspect’s vehicle at a local business and quickly set up a perimeter.

Within 20 minutes of the call coming in, the suspect was taken into custody.

It was confirmed the suspect did have weapons in his truck at the scene.

The man was booked into the Fond du Lac County Jail for terrorist threats, misdemeanor bail jumping, OWI 2nd offense, felon in possession of a firearm,
disorderly conduct, armed with a firearm while intoxicated, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
