Matthews Tire to hold 13th annual Oil Change for the Better fundraiser
Matthews Tire will host their 13th annual Oil Change for the Better event July 29 – August 2 and August 5 – 9. For every regular-priced oil change during the event at all six locations (in Appleton–East and West, Menasha, Waupaca, Fond du Lac and Green Bay), Matthews Tire will donate $15 to Fox Valley Humane Association.
As a full-service, state-of-the-art animal shelter and resource center, Fox Valley Humane Association serves thousands of people and their pets each year. The organization works 24/7 to ensure that no animal need in the Fox Valley goes unmet.
“The humane association is much more than a shelter for unwanted animals,” said Brenda Leick, director of development at the Fox Valley Humane Association. “We offer vital services such as low-cost vaccinations and services to ensure the health of pets and their people. These services help prevent the spread of diseases, provide essential medical care and improve the overall well-being of the animals. We’re honored that Matthews chose us.”
Matthews Tire President Trevor Rezner expressed his enthusiasm for this year’s fundraiser: “We love to support area pet nonprofits like the Fox Valley Humane Association through our Oil Change for the Better event. By donating $15 from every oil change, we can help improve the lives of pets and people within our community.”
People are encouraged to participate by scheduling their oil change during the two-week event starting July 29th: www.matthewstire.com/schedule-appointment.
Fox Valley Humane Association is an area leader in animal care, welfare and education in the Fox Valley Region community since 1891. To learn more, visit www.foxvalleypets.org.
