Mayville Couple Under Investigation for Poor Living Conditions

A Human Services investigation is underway in Mayville following an anonymous report of three children being kept in unsanitary conditions. Officers went to conduct a welfare check at the home, when the 31-year old man and 30-year old woman living there did not let them inside. Police reported a strong odor of animal feces coming from inside the home – along with a pile of junk attracting a large group of flies to the porch. The investigation into the case is ongoing.
